Sounds decadent doesn’t it? So one night I was going to make my Nane’s pasta with clam sauce, but I only had salmon. Then someone came over with a bottle of champagne. I thought, “mmm…can I find a recipe that fits all three?” The answer was, “with a little combination-yes”. So here’s the recipe, taken from a HG-TV recipe, a Food Network Recipe and my Nane’s recipe.
I remember this from my childhood. At the time I couldn’t appreciate the rye and would eat the meat and cheese off the cracker. As an adult…these are so good.
Easiest and most delicious fruit salad. Obviously you can swap in or out any prefered fruit. The honey, lemon juice and poppy seeds are really the secret.
This is a family recipe. I’ll be honest, everyone else seems to be able to make this dish flawlessly. I sadly fail every time. I’ll keep trying though.
There is a great mexican restaurant near my house that serves an amazing black bean soup. Awhile ago our local news station published a recipe that was from that restaurant. I made some changes and this is as close as it gets. YUM
